How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
working with a "big 8" CPA firm, I found working with business owners to be rewarding & interesting. Each business was unique in its problems & owner's goals... and rewarding in the effect I could have on the owners lives - just by providing accounting & tax advice one-on-one.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
personal one-on-one service. I'm on iPhone during the day & respond asap to my clients. They get the attention they deserve.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
local in Sellwood, on the River, 5 min from downtown. No plans for expansion in order to keep the service personal.
Provide detailed directions to your location
from downtown, head south on Macadam. 5minutes to the Sellwood bridge. East bank of the river at the entrance to Oaks Park. Big brick office building with free parking.
What type of payments do you accept?
cash & checks only. I don't take credit cards as I don't want my clients in debt to me.
Which areas do you service?
owners must reside locally so we can communicate easily. Anywhere in the PDX metro area. I grew up here & it's still a small city.
