Pierce has taught watercolor, as well as participated in numerous Western Art shows and exhibitions throughout the United States. Shows like the prestigious C.M. Russell Auction in Great Falls Montana, where Pierce is entering his 26th consecutive year as a participating artist. His artwork has been featured on The Bradford Exchange Series of collector plates, Leanin’ Tree card, The Favell Museum’s Permanent Art collection, Ellensburg Art Auction Poster Artist for 1996, Member of the U.S.M.C. Combat Art Collection. Pierce participated in the C.M. Russell Museum’s 1999 “The Cowboy, Today’s Tradition” Exhibition, as well as having been commissioned to paint several murals. Currently Pierce drew on his tour as a U.S. Marine in Vietnam for a series of paintings, one of which was featured in “Vietnam” magazine.
