How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I have always worked for others and enjoyed working with people. My husband started this business in 1989. In 2000, I decided to leave the company I had worked for for over 10 years to join my husband in the moving and storage industry. It was a wonderful decision.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Customer service is my number one priority. Customer service has really declined over the years. I know building a good relationship with our customers starts when I take their first phone call. We are a very honest hard working truly family owned company. Household moving is very competitive in Oregon and Washington. We follow all state and fedral licensing and insurance requirements. We have never missed a single move. Our crews have been hand selected, given extensive background checks, and show up on time to our jobs.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location and plan to keep it that way. This is how we maintain a truly family owned and operated company.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, personal checks (except on one-way moves), business checks, and credit cards (with prior arrangements)
Which areas do you service?
We cover all of Oregon and Washington including from these two states to any state in the United States as well as from any state in the United States back to Oregon or Washington.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
My husband Tim and myself own and run all operations.
What are your hours of operation?
Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8am - 6pm and Saturday 8am - 4pm. However, we also offer emergency service so we can be reached after hours by calling our main number.
