How long have you been in business?

What is your primary product or service?
We are a one stop shop. Outside of typical aquarium shop items we have plastic clamps, bulkhead fittings and plumbing parts. We have repair parts and can fix almost anything most of the time while you wait. Large quantities of carbon, aquarium salt and premixed saltwater - 1800 gallon capacity.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
A visit to the Virgin Islands was the spark. I have degrees in chemistry and math, many years as a synthetic organic research chemist and 11 years as a chemistry and math private tutor at Portland State. Applying my knowledge to the aquarium hobby and using my teaching skills I guarantee excellent customer service.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Quality livestock kept in small independent systems to avoid the whole shop from a disease outbreak. When treatment is necessary we've developed a new, more effective treatment protocol.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
1 location is plenty

Our address is on the corner of Russet and Rodney but the shop is around the corner on Rodney-it's a gravel street. Look for the seahorse sign. From I-5 South take Lombard East exit - Take the 2nd left after the 2nd light onto Rodney. From I-5 North take the MLK exit. Right on Lombard. Go 2 blocks take a right on Rodney
