The Church in the Village
We meet weekly to worship, learn and share together on Sunday mornings at 10:30am at our new facility is located at 7634 SW Capitol Highway, Portland, OR 97219.
During our time together, we offer age appropriate classes for nursery, toddlers, preschool, K-1st, 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th, and middle school grades. Our gatherings end around 11:45am and people are welcome to linger to learn more about our church family!

How long have you been in business?
Riversgate has served the SW Portland, Multnomah Village community for 12 years.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a group of ordinary people blessed by an extraordinary God serving those in our midst.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I spent the first 27 years of my life trying to control my own path and destiny, and although I experienced much worldly success, my heart was near empty. Finding Christ, His forgiveness, His strength and His promise of life very much changed my view of purpose and now I have everything I need, even though I have much less of the world!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We strive to be relationally relevant to our local community while being advocates of the truth of God's design for relationship, redemption and a resurrected life for all time through Jesus!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We hope God has plans to expand His church, but we are more focused on honoring those He has brought to our midst!

From I-5 South, take the Barbur Blvd exit and then travel NW on Capitol Highway until you pass through Multnomah Village. Our Sunday services at 1030 are held at the Multnomah Art Center on the SE side of Capitol Highway across from Starbucks. From I-5 North, take the Multnomah Blvd exit. Come down to SW 35th and turn right. Turn right on SW Capitol Highway and look for the Multnomah Art Center on your right, across from Starbucks.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept prayer requests, broken hearts, those recovering from hurtful "church" experiences, those fighting addiction, those pretending to be happy on the outside, those pretending to be happy on the inside, tired, weary, or confused. Basically we will take anyone in any form they are in!
Which areas do you service?
The heart, the soul and the mind.
