Nine years.
What is your primary product or service?
Quality Beads for the Bead Artist.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Dusti has been beading for over 30 years. She decided that she wanted to own her own shop some 25 years ago.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our Staff. They are all experienced, creative beaders. They are helpful and friendly. They can suggest products and techniques to help you with your project, regardless of your experience level, new beader to master. We also strive to have the best quality beads available, and our findings selection is the largest in Portland.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our commitment is to our one brick and mortar store. We do have some offerings on Etsy, and may move back into e-commerce at a later date.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, Check, Visa, and Master Card are all welcomed.
Which areas do you service?
A majority of our customers are from SE Portland. However we also have customers from Vancouver, WA, Idaho, Montana, and actually the whole western United States. We have even had customers from as far away as the Shetland Islands, off the English coast.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Dusti and Eric Dickman are the owners, and are in the shop most days. Travis is our shop Manager, and is present to take care of operations Wednesday thru Saturday.
What are your hours of operation?
Monday - Friday, 10A to 6PM. Saturday, 10A - 5PM. Sunday, 12N - 4PM. Special accommodation can frequently be made for those "Bead Emergencies".
