Since September 1985
What is your primary product or service?
Architecture with a primary focus on new, remodel and tenant improvements for commercial, institutional and residential properties.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
It has always been a part of my life - began by building cities on my living room floor as a kid, first drafting class at 13, and have always had a passion for solving challenging problems. Received a Bachelor of Architecture with Highest Honors from University of California Berkeley in 1970 and have been practicing in the Portland area since then.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
While this is a small firm, having worked for several large architectural firms before starting my own practice, I have learned sophisticated project management strategies that I am effectively applying to the small scale of project we typically undertake. Our focus is on providing very attentive customer service so projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our current and only location is at 12600 SW Crescent Street, Suite 100 (in The Round), Beaverton, Oregon 97005
What type of payments do you accept?
Checks are preferred; cash is okay but not encouraged. We do not take charge/debit cards.
Which areas do you service?
I am licensed in Oregon and Washington, primarily the Portland Metropolitan area, but have done projects outside of this area, particularly in the Lincoln City area.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Stewart Straus
What are your hours of operation?
Office hours are typically M-F from 9 am to 6 pm, but often extend beyond that, particularly evenings and weekends. Our schedules are flexible to meet the needs of our clients.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
A referral to their best friend or business associate needing architectural services.
