Operating in Beaverton for nearly forty years, Good Samaritan Ministries offers free counseling, empowerment groups, and local services resources. We also operate in thirty countries through out the world and minister to widows and orphans, provide education and counseling in many third world-countries, and train counselors in each country to teach their own communities.

What is your primary product or service?
Christian Counseling, Resources programs, empowerment groups. While we offer Christian service, we serve people from all backgrounds, ethnicities, religions, and orientations.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Our founder, Bettie P. Mitchell, answered the call of God to open the counseling center in 1976 during a tour of the biblical city of Nineveh.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
All of our services are free. We run entirely on support from donations. We have a broad volunteer base and operate internationally.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have over a dozen centers primarily in the Pacific Northwest and many more centers in 30 different countries.

Our services are free. Donations are made with cash, check, or online with Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard).
